Fire Survivor Event at Rivino Winery

WHAT A NIGHT! BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OUR SPONSORS AND DONORS FOR HELPING MAKE THIS EVENT SUCH A BIG SUCCESS - OVER 150-200 FIRE SURVIVORS FROM VARIOUS FIRES, PLUS 30 STAFF IN ATTENDANCE

As we go into another fire season UDRNC & North Coast Opportunities, Inc. took this opportunity to hold a special event for Fire Survivors from the last 5 years to gather together for one night at Rivino Winery. Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors we were able to provide free food, wine/soft drinks/coffee, dessert, music, speaker, taxi, prizes, yard games and face painting.

We saw smiling faces, people laughing and dancing, eating and drinking, winning prizes and enjoying themselves with new and old friends and their family.

We support self care, we support the bonds that are created when our clients go thru such a traumatic experience. Getting to know their neighbors and fellow fire survivors. Taking time for relaxing and recovering.

We serve our clients for up to 3 years. In this time new fire survivors are able to learn from clients that have already experienced what they are going through, thus providing hope, strength and encouragement that things will get better. Building each other up is our goal.
